Hindustan Zinc (HZL) is a premier name all over world in Zinc manufacturing. Their constant thrust on automation created an opportunity for Pyrotech to provide CCTV based stack monitoring solution. HZL used to monitor the stack visually. In the stack they monitor different gases i.e. Sulphur, Chlorine etc. which are harmful to surrounding areas. The CCTV system ensures constant monitoring and immediate preventive action can be taken. They have put a day & night camera with suitable lenses for monitoring the smoke coming out of stack. Now, instead of going out of the building and viewing the stack from far off distance, people can not only monitor the smoke directly from control room, but also record it for 24 Hrs. This video of stack is also available on LAN system to their different executives. So, everyone who has the password can avail an access to it, right next to his/her desk.
